○ネコちゃんの狩猟スタイルと獲物の動きに近づけて遊んでみて
ネコちゃんの狩猟スタイルは、気づかれないように低い姿勢を保ち、忍耐強く時間をかけて、絶好のチャンスを狙って捕まえるというものです。
そのため、おもちゃで遊んでいるときも、椅子やラグの下、トンネルなど、部屋の中にネコちゃんが隠れられるスペースを作ってあげましょう。

また、おもちゃは狩りのターゲット（＝獲物）であるため、獲物の動きを真似てあげるとネコちゃんはとても喜びます。
ネズミのようにちょこまかと床に水平に動かす、布の下で動かす、鳥のように床から飛び立つ、ウサギのようにぴょんぴょんと上下に跳ねるなど、ネコちゃんの獲物になりきって、おもちゃを動かしてみてください。
また、最後にはおもちゃを捕まえさせてあげて、ネコちゃんに達成感を得てもらいましょう。

フードが出てくるおもちゃは、肥満予防のため、1日分のフードの中からおもちゃ用を捻出するようにしてください。カプセルトイの容器や小さめのペットボトルに、フードが出てくるくらいの穴を空けて自作することもできるので、試してみてください。
ただ、プラスチック容器をかじってしまったり、破壊してしまったりするネコちゃんには注意して与えましょう。

Q. 病気やケガなど、あまり動けないときはどのように遊べばいいですか？
A. 無理に遊ばず、治療を最優先にしてください。

治療が最優先なので、無理に遊ぶことは避けましょう。
それでもネコちゃんが遊んでほしそうであれば、大きな動きをしなくても本能を満たせる、フードを使った知育玩具が良いと思います。

A. 無理には誘わず、遊ぶ時間帯を変えたり、おもちゃの動かし方を工夫したりしてみてください。

ネコちゃんが誘いに乗ってこない時にしつこく誘うと、ストレスをかけてしまうことがあります。
ネコちゃんは朝と夕方に活発になるため、その時間帯の起きているタイミングで誘ってみて下さい。
その他、獲物の動きを真似てみる、新しいおもちゃを試してみるなどの方法があります。
